district I'm going to the LinkedIn. offices my old stomping grounds hang out. with a former co-worker of mine and I. think it'll be really exciting just to. see my old co-workers where I literally. spent every single day of my life for. three years. which is kind of crazy so I'm really. looking forward to taking you to the. LinkedIn headquarters in San Francisco. today is a really social day for me I. have a couple of meetings I think I'm.

more naturally an extroverted person but. today is even a lot for me so I had a. meeting this morning with my Creator. friend I'm going into LinkedIn SF. headquarters to meet with a former. co-worker of mine then I have a. one-on-one meeting with a former boss of. mine who I worked for at being Capital. Ventures last summer finally I am. meeting up with a form a current. classmate of mine and we're just hanging. out and grabbing dinner together so it's.

just a lot of people time which I like. I like but it's still a lot also I'm. experimenting with these new Vlogs let. me know if it's. something that you guys enjoy seeing. it's a new medium for me so I'm not. really sure I'm still figuring out how I. feel about it if I like it so I'm just. taking you guys on this journey with me. [Music].

I'm in the car on the way to LinkedIn. San Francisco office now we're like. driving through Japan town and you can. see some of the blue sky. [Music]. it's that black building a planner.

wherever it's safe to pull over. okay thank you you're welcome. all right so I'm across from the. LinkedIn building I'm about to walk in. and meet my friend for lunch I'm kind of. being triggered right now because this. is the building that I would.

work in for like the last three years. um also what first the world's first. robot manicure. why is this an ad in the lobby of the. LinkedIn building but anyways. should I get a robot manicure today that. might be on the list of things that I. should get done. [Music]. Sherry that's good good to see you are.

thank you okay. [Music]. now I'm on the 17th floor I have my. laptop with me I'm going to be doing a. bit of work here and then we're going to. continue on with the very social day but.

he and I worked together when I was at. LinkedIn around a year ago we worked on. many projects together. one of the biggest projects that we. worked on was trying to figure out how. to get people to come to LinkedIn. learning which was the product that I. worked on not only how to come to. LinkedIn learning but how do they stay. because learning is a very specific use. case and it's not exactly entertainment. it's more education so how do we get. people to want to learn so that was a.

project that we worked on together he. used to work in Consulting and then from. Consulting he joined Tech through. business operations that's the role and. now he just became a product manager so. he's had a couple of career transitions. so far and I invited him to talk on the. podcast and he's excited to join later. on so let me know if that's a. conversation you guys would be. interested in and he's just in his first. month of becoming a product manager so. we were talking about some tips and.

tricks there. honestly being back here has kind of. made me miss corporate life because come. on look at these snacks what are these. steamed marinated. artichoke snacks that you can eat to. your hearts contains. um they have a bunch of these like grab. and go jelly beans.

with a bunch of leaves other snacks here. and I remember. um they call it like you know the. Facebook 15. LinkedIn 15 doesn't really. have the same rain to it. healthy cheese puffs but basically. people end up gaining a lot of weight in. their first couple of months of working. in Tech because just the access to. snacks free food you guys saw the. the cafeteria. damn do I miss working in corporate a. little bit.

I just walked over from linkedin's. offices I'm now at Bain Capital Ventures. I interned in Venture Capital last. summer before I started my MBA program. and it was like a pre-mba internship and. I'm meeting up with my former boss here. I'm excited to catch up with him and I. will update you guys later. I finished my meeting with my friend. slash former boss at being Capital. Ventures I have a little bit of time.

before my next meeting and so I'm gonna. head into Claire V Hayes Valley which is. maybe like my third favorite part of the. city. [Music]. thank you. [Music].

wait so you're known for jackets. literally everyone is just like I love. your jackets all the time and like. multiple people have come up to me and. be like you have the best jackets.

oh my God it's because I have those. three mosh jackets. yeah and then I had that green jacket. from CEO's closet. do you remember the green Puffer that I. wore for a long time. yeah totally it really does. [Music]. thank you. [Music].

I'm currently at Kuma Sushi and it's. located in lower Knob Hill it is my. first time here I'm super excited to try. it Penny was like we have this sushi. restaurant that we both have to try. together so I'll keep you guys posted on. exactly what we're eating and bring you. guys along. enjoy thank you.
